Steve and Kayla's Honeymoon

Steve has one more surprise for
Kayla: she doesn't know where
they are going for their honeymoon.

The passports are a hint that
they are going out of the country.
..

Kayla tries to get more information
out of Steve. He's going to keep it
a secret as long as possible.

Kayla is thrilled and surprised that Steve was able to reserve them a private jet...

The captain who officiated their wedding ceremony stops in to greet the couple. Steve explains that the jet belongs to the captain, his old friend from the Merchant Marines.

Before he leaves for the cockpit, the Captain lets Steve and Kayla know that they have the cabin to themselves, the crew has made sure they have complete privacy.

Kayla keeps trying to get the secret honeymoon destination out of Steve.

"Give it up baby, I'm not going to tell you!"

Kayla: (laughs) Is this what our whole relationship's going to be like, you keeping me guessing all of the time?
Steve: Ya ,that way it won't get boring...let me tell you something, there's one thing in our marriage you don't have to guess about....

"...how much I love you"

"I gotta tell you, I feel a little weird about being a husband...this is new. But it feels right, it feels right." Steve gives Kayla a jewelry box.

She opens it and finds necklace with an anchor charm...Kayla says it is a perfect reminder of her wedding day.

Steve: "It's not only for that. It's to remind you that you're my anchor baby. You make me feel safe, you make me feel loved. It's the first time I'm going to have someone to come home to. I never thought I could get anyone to love me, especially not somebody like you...so I want you to remember, when you see this little golden anchor, that I'll never leave you. I'll never leave you, I couldn't. "
Kayla: I love you, very much

Steve and Kayla are both nervous. Kayla asks him to say her new name again.
Steve: Kayla Johnson...that's Mrs. Steven Earl Johnson to you. Do you like it?
Kayla: It suits me just fine
Steve: Well, Mrs. Johnson, will you come with me into the future?

"I want you to know something.
If that surgery hadn't worked, and you never could hear again, if you never heard me say another word,
if I never heard you speak again...it wouldn't make any difference. I would still love you, I would have still wanted you to be my wife."

Steve: "This is going to sound a little weird because I never read any of those books you know, like 30 Days to a better vocabulary...
but I believe that the love we have in our hearts for each other is infinite...no beginning and no end.
..

(Steve continues)...You know why? Because we started out so far apart, and then we found each other, and we're so much in love. It's like we were always a part of each other, even before we knew each other. And that's why I believe that we always will be together. No beginning, no end. Forever. I love you."

The next morning, Kayla wakes Steve up with kisses.

Steve says he likes waking up to his wife.

"Kayla, I'm going to make you a promise...the future is gonna be happy, it's gonna have hope...it's gonna be bright..."

"It's gonna be as bright as that sun out there."

Kayla is amazed with the hotel room (in "The Orient") that Steve has reserved for them. He shows her the bathtub. Kayla wonders how Steve is able to afford all of this, he explains that someone paid him back an old debt.

Steve pops out of the bubbles singing "Barnacle Bill the Sailor"

(Kayla helps him tie his patch back on).

Kayla grabs the towel Steve is wearing (which is all he is wearing).

(He grabs a robe and takes Kayla to the bed).

Steve and Kayla have dinner.

(A dancer at the restaurant)

They decide to have dessert in their hotel room...

Kayla to Steve:"I love you, I wouldn't care where or how we spent our honeymoon. I didn't realize that being married would make me feel so different, but it does. Emotionally and physically...anyway I'm very secure and content now. I'm proud to be married to you, and I love you."

Steve: "Baby, I'm the one who's proud...

(Steve continues...)
"...You know, I was watching you sleep this morning, and I thanked the "Big Dude" for your love..."

(Steve continues...)
"
...I don't know what I'd do without you...Don't ever leave me."

"I won't".

(Aftermath: Steve and Kayla find a little boy named Benji
who seems to be lost in the Orient. The little boy is deaf
and Steve and Kayla  end up taking him home to Salem
with them while they search for his family.)
