When A Junkie Attacks Her At The Emergency Center
Later, Kayla Dreams of Steve

Steve drops Max off at the emergency center for a visit with Kayla. Max was missing her.
After Steve leaves, a strung out junkie looking for drugs threatens Kayla with a knife.		Max sees the man getting rough with Kayla, and leaves the emergency center....
		Max (who won't talk) finds Steve and tries to pull him up....
Steve realizes something must be wrong at the emergency center	Steve arrives to see the junkie...	and pulls the man's arm, and knife away from Kayla.
Steve stops chasing the junkie when he realizes Kayla is bleeding.		He listens as Kayla tells him how to treat her wound
	Steve is scared out of his mind with worry for Kayla.

	Steve hopes he isn't hurting Kayla or doing anything wrong.
Kayla says on the contrary, he has very gentle hands		Steve reassures Max, & tells him he's a hero. He saved Kayla.
Steve tells Max the police are going to give him a hero's medal.		Max reaches out for a hug from Kayla.
Kayla calls Max her hero, as she looks at Steve.
	Steve takes one more look at Kayla before taking Max home.	That night, back at her apartment, Kayla dreams that Steve comes over to check on her....

		When Kayla wakes up, she is surprised to hear Steve calling her name
He let himself in; was just checking to make sure she was ok.	She assures him she can take care of herself.	Kayla watches as he leaves...
