Mary Beth Talks about  her home and how she wanted it to reflect a South Carolina feeling. She fell in love with  South Carolina's architecture  on a trip there in the 80's, she explains. Fans remember that the Emily and Gideon storyline on Days of our Lives  was filmed on location in South Carolina.

The Dining Room was meant to reflect more of a New Orleans feel. Antique silk screens decorate the walls. As with most rooms in the house, the dining room leads out to the porch, an ideal place for entertaining according to Mary Beth.
